We are a friendly group of  currently about 18 players of varying abilities.

Most people have only played Scrabble with the family but there is so much more fun involved if you love words. We have an Official Scrabble Dictionary and lists of permissible two and three letter words that offer many more opportunities for higher scores.

We usually play one-to-one, occasionally a threesome and use a ladder system where the top scorers can choose whom they play the next time. It's great fun and quite absorbing.

Our sessions are for 2 hours, this usually means enough time for 2 games with a tea break in between.

We would welcome new members who fancy the challenge e.g. to gain a game score of at least 250. Our regular members would be happy to guide you.
