History of Art 3

Status:Active, open to new members
Convenor:
When: On Wednesdays 1:30 pm
3rd Wednesday of the month
Venue: Scout HQ

This  group is an opportunity for anyone intrigued by or interested in Art and Artists to share their responses and enthusiasms - and over time to learn  from each other.

As with Art Histories 1 & 2, it is possible that members will build up to talking to the group, in turn, about a favourite artist, art movement, or work of art chosen and researched by them. However, it may be that short contributions from several members at each meeting are preferred for some time. The group is likely to develop along with members' interests.  “Art” could be interpreted very widely. It could include paintings, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, glassware, architecture or etching among other media.

Group members will be supportive, willing to share ideas and resources - and just maybe arrange to visit exhibitions together?

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month, from 1.30pm to 3.00pm in the centre of Bath.

If you would like more information, Bath u3a members can contact the Group Convenor via the Enquiry link at the top of this page. Non-members should contact the Groups Advisers for more information.
