No, we do not dance the can-can, at least not here !  'Un Cabaret' is an old French word for a bar and we currently meet in a pub in central Bath.  We try to maintain a fairly high level of French, such as having a degree or something similar in the language or having lived for some time in a francophone country, in order to achieve a reasonable flow, but we are a social group as much as a study group.

We typically chat for a bit, then look at an article or an exercise to learn more about the French-speaking world and to examine vocabulary, idiom and, to some extent, grammar and pronunciation.
