This group was formed in 2015. We hold monthly meetings in a room at a pub in Widcombe, on the third Wednesday of the month from 11:30-13:00. All members contribute to the smooth running of the group; we rotate the choice of subject for presentation and discussion amongst the group each time we meet. The subject for discussion is circulated about a week before the meeting. We try to have a mixture of topics - international and political as well as those which are of social and ethical interest; of course there is much overlap.

We meet monthly and each pay £3.00 per session. Tea and coffee are provided. Currently our meeting room is not wheelchair accessible. We limit our membership to twelve and actively seek new members when we have spaces.  Even on occasions when we are full, enquiries are welcome, since you may not need to be on our waiting list for long before a vacancy arises.
