We are an active group, formed after the Open Morning in October 2019. Our meetings are held in a member's home near Pulteney Bridge with the average attendance of 8. We  explore American literature, alternating between what might be considered a classic and more contemporary literature.

The first book we read was 'My Ántonia' by Willa Cather followed by 'Huckleberry Finn', 'The Great Gatsby' and 'Age of Innocence' by Edith Wharton.

Recent books we have read are The Aspern Papers  by Henry James and The Other Eden by Paul Harding.
