This group meets once a week at St Michael's church to play (primarily) Solo Whist and to socialise while doing so. . The only requirement is to buy a drink or a snack from St Michael's or make a price-equivalent donation. This just to say thank you for the use of their facilities.

Solo Whist is an easy game to learn and members of the Group are happy to help you get to grips with the game. The purpose of the Group is to play cards for a couple of hours and, just as important, to socialise while doing so. If you leave a session feeling you have had a pleasant couple of hours and enjoyed playing cards, then the Group's objective has been achieved.
